You can contact us by using the contact form on our website. In this case we will process your name, email address, telephone number, company you work for and the content of your message. We will process such data to process and answer your inquiry and potential follow-up questions.

The processing of this data is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Insofar as your request is contract-related or necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, the processing is based on Art. 6 (b) GDPR if you are a party to such contract or request such pre-contractual measures (e.g, in connection with your application for a job). If you make a contract-related query on behalf of the company you work for, as mentioned above, our legitimate interests serves as a legal basis.

D. Application

If you apply for a position at Staltec, we will collect the following personal data: name, address, email address, telephone number, resume, academic records and certificates, employment references, cover letter and references, as well as other information that you voluntarily provide as part of your application. If you are invited to an interview, Staltec will collect further personal data about you, such as notes on the content of the interview.

We process your personal data for the purpose of assessing your application and your personal suitability for the position you have applied for. The processing is based on Art. 6 (1) b GDPR.

We collect your personal data to the extent permitted by law from the following sources:

• directly from you (e.g. the personal data you have provided when applying for a job);
• from LinkedIn, Indeed, Stepstone, or similar third-party services in case you use such services to apply for a job or contact us;
• from publicly available online sources (e.g. if you have published a professional profile online on a professional networking site such as LinkedIn) and this is necessary to verify your details in your application; and
• from recruiters (e.g. if a recruiter contacts us to suggest you as a potential candidate);

We also collect personal data by reference or word of mouth, provided you have given your consent on the basis of Art. 6 (1) a GDPR.

The provision of the above mentioned personal data is necessary for entering into a contract with.

E. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website. Cookies are small text files that the visited website places on the website visitor's device via the Internet browser, where it can later be read again by the Internet browser. In case our third party service providers are based outside the European Economic Area, we have entered into Standard Contractual Clauses according to Art. 46 (2) (d) GDPR to safeguard the transfer of your personal data.
